AQUATICS The City of Walnut is proud to offer quality swimming instruction at Walnut High School during the summer months. There are a wide range of swimming lessons and programs that are offered to all ages in all levels of ability.
Summer 2013 Aquatic Programs/Lessons Registration will begin Monday, May 13 for residents and Monday, May 20 for all others. Click here for a list of our 2013 Summer Aquatic Programs.

The following are the general types of aquatic programs offered by the City of Walnut: Swim Lessons All swimming lessons are taught by certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors, who are also certified in CPR for the Professional Rescuer. The American Red Cross “Learn to Swim” program provides instruction to help swimmers of all ages and abilities develop their swimming and water safety skills. Group Day Lessons Group Evening Lessons Adult Lessons
Classes The American Red Cross “Learn to Swim” program teaches aquatic safety skills in a logical progression. The objective is to teach people to swim and to be safe in and around water. Parent & Me Tiny Tots Swim Lessons, Level 1-5 Adaptive
Other Programs Include: Adult Lap Swim Water Aerobics Walnut Family Swim Nights Evening Recreational Swim Afternoon Recreational Swim Summer Splash Camp Junior Lifeguards for 12-15 year olds Lifeguard Camp for 8-12 year olds Dive-In Movie Nights June 28, July 12 and August 8
