SEASONAL DAY CAMPS

Program details, including registration, for any Winter Holiday Day Camps will be posted on this page in late fall.

Summer and Holiday Day Camps are generally structured as follows:
Camp Movin’ & Groovin’: Summer and Some Holidays
This Monday through Friday camp is intended for youth and teens ages 7 to 14. This full day program is divided into three components: Getting Started, In the Groove and Cool Down. There is a separate fee for each component of this camp. Drop off and pick up for all of these camps will take place at the Teen Center.
Getting Started: 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
In the Groove: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Cool Down: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Specialized Day Camps: Summer and Some Holidays
The City of Walnut occasionally offers specialized day camps that focus on sports, art, computers, dance and swimming. The days, times, fee, and location of these camps vary.
Information for Summer 2011 will be posted here in late Spring 2011.

Camp Crawdad: Summer Only
For children ages 6 to 12. This free summer-only morning camp will be held at a local park. Camp hours are 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Camp includes Swim Days on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Periodic excursions will be offered for an additional fee.
